Good bye Livermore!

We had to do the farewell tour through Livermore so mom and dad could reminisce.

The fountain by Demetris Taberna where dad always got the dolmathes with lemon sauce and mom always got the lamb pops with tzatziki sauce. Of course, this is just hearsay because I never saw or smelled them.

Lizzie Fountain, right across the street from the big fountain, but the kids run through this one. On a hot day, I’d run through it too!
And there’s dad, going into Uncle Yu’s. Mom raves about their BBQ Seabass, she said it was one of the best she ever had and she should know, she’s been a lot of places, because she’s, well she’s mature.
Sushi with a capital “S” is my dad’s favorite food. It’s a wonder they aren’t broke with the amount of times they go!
The Riata screams Livermore. Yee Haw, ride um cowboy. They make a great Bloody Mary. Mom and dad would sometimes go for the breakfast with a Bloody Mary of course. Or sometimes they would stop in at the bar and have a gin & tonic before going across the street to Piazza to get their hairs cut by Julie

So many more places like wineries, breweries and distillery’s. They mostly frequented the ones on “The Block” like Woods Family Winery, Nottinham, The Sidewinder and The Altamont. Then there is Terra Mia another favorite restaurant. They always said it was like the TV program “Cheers” where everybody knows your name. By Francesco, by Luca, by Anthony…..

Bye Wonderful Neighbors, bye Mr. Squirrel, bye 2659 Decker Ln, bye Livermore!
